Representing landscapes of vegetation, interiors and buildings, the works of Alexandre Lenoir often feature characters as ephemeral as memories. Like flashbacks or dreamlike landscapes, an ambiguous hedonism inhabits these visions, drawing on the multiple identities of the artist himself.
