Bernard Frize
Born in 1954, he lives and works in Paris and Berlin
Frize fosters chance and accident in a tension between the execution of a pre-established program and the part of the unforeseen that accompanies it, to create an ideal of abstract painting. Since the end of the 1970s, Bernard Frize has contributed to the renewal of the language of abstraction by questioning “the object-painting”.
