Agrade Camíz is a multimedia artist who articulates her works using the aesthetics of popular Rio de Janeiro architecture, mixing issues related to sexuality, beauty, female oppression and power. In many works, she incorporates grids, which refer to the impositions and standards of behavior. The artist, in addition to producing works of many dimensions which can be exhibited in galleries and museums, also has expressive work as a graffiti artist and muralist in various parts of the city.
